Evaluation

As shown on the grading rubric and wholistic rubric, your progress will be evaluated, in part, on the following factors:
Did you state your opinion clearly in a well-constructed thesis statement?
Did you use evidence from the documents to support your opinion?
Are the connections between your evidence and your conclusions clear and logical?
Did you anticipate and refute likely counter-arguments?
Did you cite your sources?
Is your paper well-organized, and did you combine your own ideas with the evidence available to come up with a new and compelling argument?
(Remember, all work must be your own. Plaguiarized work will be dealt with in accordance with the school discipline policy.)
